West Parley Parish Council meetings are held regularly throughout the year and are open to members of the public. Meetings provide an opportunity for Councillors to discuss local matters, make decisions and consider issues affecting the parish.

Meetings are held at West Parley Community Hub.  Agenda's are published both on this website and on the three council noticeboards at lease three clear days before the meeting.  Members of the public are welcome to attend and there is the opportunity to speak during the public participation section.

Full Council Meetings

Full Council meetings bring all Parish Councillors together to discuss and make decisions on matters affecting West Parley. They provide an opportunity to consider reports, agree actions, review Council finances and respond to issues raised by the community. Members of the public are welcome to attend and can have an opportunity to speak during the public participation session.

Planning Meetings

Planning Committee meetings focus on planning applications and development proposals that may affect West Parley. Councillors consider applications, local planning matters and other relevant information before agreeing the Parish Council’s comments or recommendations to the planning authority. Members of the public are welcome to attend and can speak during the public participation session.

Committee Meetings

West Parley Parish Council has two committees that support the work of the full Council: the Finance & General Purposes Committee and the Staffing Committee. These committees consider matters within their areas of responsibility in greater detail and make recommendations or decisions in accordance with their delegated powers.
